联西村是尤溪县联合镇西部的行政村，原名后甲，1984年改为联西村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村子原名后甲，明代属尤溪十二都，解放初为后甲乡。[1]

20世纪70年代初，村子单独设立联西大队；1984年改为联西村，村民委员会同时成立。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子的海拔在300米至500米之间，气候属中亚热带季风性湿润类型，年降雨量约1600毫米。[2]

文化[edit]

20世纪40年代，本村属南、尤、沙三地革命活动的据点之一，后被确定为革命老区村。[2]

历史上村里出过贡生2人、秀才4人，早年留有庙宇三处。[2]

2021年11月，本村被福建省爱卫办评为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2024年7月，本村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
