际头村是坂面镇的行政村，村尾有一道瀑布，村名由此而来。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村尾有一道瀑布，因此称为际头。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年改称际头村，设村民委员会。[1]

陈氏始祖于清顺治三年（1646年）迁来此地。际头旧属尤溪二十八都，民国时属蓬莱境内的际头保。[1]

1953年改属芹洋乡；1959年成立际头大队，归坂面公社。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，际头村获2023年度三明市达标「六无」村（社区）称号。[1]
