坂面村是坂面镇的行政村，位于镇域中部，是镇中心的集镇所在地，镇政府驻地也在此村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村子所在的小平原由尤溪河冲积而成，当地方言把河边冲积地叫作“溪坂”，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，这里属尤溪二十八都。1945年，村址是玉街镇的驻地；新中国成立初期，这里是第五区的驻地。[1]

1958年组建坂面大队，归坂面人民公社，同时作公社驻地；1984年改为坂面村，设村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

「中国工农红军北上抗日先遣队旧址庭美堂」在村中，清乾隆年间已有此堂，20世纪30年代重建。1934年红军曾在此驻扎，2020年被定为省级文物保护单位（第十批）。[3][4]

「坂面红军北上抗日先遣队驻地旧址」（坂面嘉山堂）也在村中，为县级文物保护单位。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，坂面村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
