尤溪口镇位于福建省三明市尤溪县东北隅，镇人民政府驻一号区，距县城约56千米。镇域在尤溪河汇入闽江的出河口南岸，全镇只辖一个行政村，即尤墩村。[5][7][8]
地名因尤溪河在此汇入闽江而来。民国时期闽江汽船航运在此设站，这里一度是尤溪及闽中、闽西、闽北货物的转运码头。1972年5月设立尤溪口镇。1980年代末，水口水电站蓄水，老镇区没入库区，居民迁往山顶的新址。[4][5]
历史沿革[edit]
此地原是闽江边的小村落，旧称溪尾，又称溪口尾。民国初年隶属南平县。民国时期闽江行驶汽船，此处设站，尤溪县的大部分进出货物都要在此转驳，于是渐成小码头。[4]
民国11年冬，军阀卢兴邦的部队在溪尾设厘金局；民国14年改称尤溪口，作为尤溪县收取货税的口岸，河对岸原有的尤溪口则改称对面街。[4]
1947年2月，尤溪口改隶尤溪县，编入西溪镇（今西滨镇）。[4][6]
1972年5月，县城通往此地的公路竣工，鹰厦铁路来福支线在北岸停靠旅客，闽江轮船往返南平与福州，人口随之增加，省人民政府批准设镇。1988年7月，省建委把它列为内河港口城镇。[4]
1987年3月，水口水电站主体工程开工，尤溪口处于库区全淹没区，镇政府在距老镇约30米的山顶重建新镇。1989年水库蓄水，居民分批搬迁，1991年基本完成复建。水库截断了闽江航道，码头功能随之消失。[4]
2006年福银高速福建段通车后，镇的交通区位优势进一步减弱。[4]
地理环境[edit]
镇域东面和北面与南平市延平区樟湖镇相邻，西面接西滨镇，西南与西北面和延平区太平镇接壤。[2]
镇址在闽江中游南岸，正对尤溪河注入闽江之处。距福银高速公路口约26千米，距南平约46千米，距福州约118千米，316国道过境。[3]
经纬度大致为北纬26度23分，东经118度24分至27分之间。[3]
面积的记载有出入：博雅地名网作约12平方千米，维基百科作12平方公里，百度百科作2.1平方千米。[1][2][3]

2019年末户籍人口804人（百度百科）；2023年，镇内辖1个村委会、5个村民小组，共264户779人（博雅地名网）。[1][3]
文化[edit]
镇内使用洋中话，该方言属闽语闽东片。[9]
一号区12号处，正对镇政府的地方，是红军东方军尤溪口阻击战遗址，列为县级文物保护单位。[5][6] 镇内另有尤溪口革命历史纪念馆；红色遗迹还包括红九军的尤溪口战役旧址，以及红军北上抗日先遣队的东渡闽江渡口旧址。[3]

2019年，镇内的渔乐小镇景区被评为「国家3A级景区」；另有资料称该年获此评定的是尤溪口镇。[3][4]
