凤元村是尤溪县西城镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区西侧，邻接沙县郑湖村，离尤溪县城约40千米。[3]

村内以千亩竹海为特色。2022年8月，尤溪县人民政府批复同意其村庄规划，并确定凤元村为「保护开发特色村庄」。[2]

2024年7月，凤元村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期属尤溪县四都，民国时期称凤元保。中华人民共和国成立初设凤元乡，1958年组建凤元大队；1984年改称凤元村，沿用至今。[1]
