北宅村是尤溪县西城镇下辖的行政村，地处山区，自然村分布较为分散，村民多外出务工。[2]
2021年11月，北宅村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期属尤溪县五都，民国时期为麻洋保，解放初设北宅乡。1958年并入麻洋，合组麻洋大队；1962年分出，另设北宅大队。1984年改为北宅村，设村民委员会。[1]
清光绪年间，卢兴邦在现北宅村部处建房，用作收存税银的仓库。[2]
地理环境[edit]
卓源山一带蕴藏石灰石、铅锌矿等矿产，卓源自然村有一座仙妮妈古庙。[2]
