地名由来[edit]
村名取玉田口与池坑两个自然村名的首字。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
村庄始建于唐代，旧属尤溪县五都，解放前为玉池保。1949年设玉池乡，1958年组建玉池大队，1984年定名玉池村，并设立村民委员会。[1][3]
名胜古迹[edit]
天台山罗汉寺为县级文物保护单位。据记载，寺庙于唐高宗永隆年间创建，后遭毁坏，明崇祯年间得以重修，寺中有大雄宝殿、观音殿与化生塔。[2]
