和平村是尤溪县西城镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区西南，距镇政府约5千米，临近双里水库。[2]

2024年7月，和平村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名"和平"寓意没有战乱。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期归尤溪县六都管辖。民国时期称枣岭保，解放后先设和平乡，1958年改设和平大队，1969年改属团结公社。1984年起定名和平村，并设立村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内水利干渠贯穿全境，村子附近的双里水库为村中的水利条件之一。[2]
