光林村是尤溪县西城镇下辖的行政村，地处城郊，东面与尤溪县城相邻，西面接镇区。[2][3]
2021年11月，光林村被福建省爱卫办命名为2021年福建省卫生村；2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村名最初取自辖内安洲岭与林坑两地名各一字，称为安林，后以方言谐音改称光林。[1][3]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期属尤溪县七都，民国时期属安林保。解放初设安林乡，1958年成立光林大队。1984年改称光林村，并设村民委员会。[1]
自1992年列入城西开发区以来，村里陆续引进了多家企业。[2]
地理环境[edit]
境内的304省道、城西街与青印溪自中部并行穿过，把村子分为南北两区。向莆铁路在村西南方向横穿而过。[2]
