西城镇是福建省三明市尤溪县下辖的镇，位于县城西郊，离县城约3千米。镇域东面与梅仙镇、城关镇相连，南面与坂面乡、新阳镇为邻，西面接管前镇，北面与沙县的南阳、郑湖两乡交界。[1]

镇政府设在七口街，集镇中心一带有向莆铁路尤溪火车站与厦沙高速尤溪西城互通口，是进出尤溪的重要节点。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代这一带属常平乡进溪里。[1]

1995年9月撤销团结乡，同年建镇，定名西城镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

九阜山省级自然保护区地处镇境之内，七尺村境内也有其范围。[2][5]

名胜古迹[edit]

九阜山景区的名称源于99座起伏的山峰，核心区域为长约10千米的九阜溪峡谷，以险峻山势、原始森林和溪涧瀑潭著称。据百度百科，景区于2019年获评国家4A级旅游景区。[4]
