柳塘村位于管前镇西北部，距镇政府约9千米，村子临柳塘水库而得名。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村中柳树众多，人家临水而居，水库宛如一口大池塘，村名由此而来。[1]

地理环境[edit]

柳塘水库1977年9月开工，1979年10月大坝建成，是一座中型水库，总库容4400万立方米，兼有防洪、灌溉、发电等用途。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1979年因柳塘水库建设，村地从原大队分出，另组湖滨大队；1981年更名柳塘大队，1984年起称柳塘村，村级组织为村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

柳塘水库边的仙灵稽夕山上有秀峰亭。亭子元泰定二年（公元1325年）始建，明景泰年间（1450至1456年）获敕封，朝廷赐建金銮，上殿为金銮殿，下殿为三保殿。1995年11月，村民出资重建此亭，两年后正殿告竣。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，本村获评「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2024年7月，本村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月又被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
