后垅村位于管前镇西部，距镇政府约14千米。[1]

地名由来[edit]

清代村中出过两名举人，村子的声势因此兴盛，遂有此名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时属陈昌保；土改时期称后佘乡；1958年设后垅大队，归管前公社；1984年起称后垅村，村级组织为村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，本村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月又被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
