大坋村位于尤溪县新阳镇东北部，东临西城镇，北临管前镇，距县城约26公里，海拔759米，别称六都。[1][3]
村名的由来：先民在此开荒，平分土地，合“土”“分”二字造出“坋”字，原名兴坋，后改称大坋。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时此地属尤溪六都，民国时为玉漈乡。解放初曾与邻村并为一乡；1960年划出另立大坋大队，归新桥公社；1984年起改设大坋村。[1][2]
村落形成于明代。博雅地名网与百度百科所载的人口数字年份不一，此处不取其数。[1][3]
工艺与产业[edit]
解放前村中的木雕刻艺术远近闻名，因未及时保护，现已失传。[2]
村中有金柑、油茶等经济林，2009年初创办了省内首家油茶合作社。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2015年10月，本村入选福建省第一批省级传统村落名录；2019年6月，又列入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1]
2024年1月，本村列入2023年福建省卫生村名单；同年7月，进入2023年度三明市「六无」达标名单。[1]
