地名与历史[edit]
村名的由来：早先取两个初级社的首字，寓“二龙合一”，最初叫“龙一”，后把“一”字改成“益”，于是有了龙益之名。[1]
此地明清时属尤溪五十都，民国时归永龙保。土改时永龙保分为六个初级社，之后设立龙益大队，1984年起改设龙益村。[1][2]
人口与生计[edit]
村内共30个村民小组，划为4个自然村：龙泽、龙钱、永茂与牛后。农业人口3403人（博雅地名网所载，年份不详）。[1][2]
村中有小型水库一座；2008年5月成立了全镇第一个农机合作组织。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2020年和2021年，龙益村连续入选三明市「六无」村（社区）达标名单。[3]
