洋边村位于洋中镇西部，紧邻集镇中心，原名东阳，海拔200米，是通往尤溪县城的主干道经过的村庄。[1]

村中最高的山峰海拔538米，村庄距福银高速公路洋中互通口约3公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

南宋年间，村中建有一座马仙亭，称「高峰亭」。[1]
