彩洋村在西滨镇北部边缘，靠近五峰山，北面与南平市太平镇相邻，距大峰山8公里，距集镇18公里[1]。村名早先写作“仁洋”或“菜洋”，后取谐音改为“彩洋”[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

村庄建于明成化二年，此后明清两代属尤溪十三都[2]。解放初曾有几次管辖变动，1984年划归水库管理站，1987年才正式设为行政村[1]。

村域与人口[edit]

村中仅有1个村民小组，共255人，劳动力151人，已转移117人，其中出国劳务20人[2]。全村土地7217亩，耕地仅346亩，林地6222亩[2]。

水库与山地[edit]

1973年，镇里在村内修建水库，库容173万立方米[2]。村东8公里的大峰山上建有仙奶庙，海拔1104米[2]。

产业与文物[edit]

毛竹林面积1659亩，是村民主要收入来源[2]。第四次全国文物普查新登记的文物中，本村有陈氏厝一处，记为民国[3]。
