名称来历[edit]
据传古时此地曾发生战事、血流成河，故称“红口”，后用谐音改作“雍口”[1]。
人口与村域[edit]
全村457户、1862人，辖7个自然村、17个村民小组，总面积26平方公里[1]。耕地1829亩，其中水田1784亩；森林29897亩，其中生态公益林11473亩[2]。
交通与水利[edit]
村庄是水口水电站库区的迁移村，也是京福高速公路的过境村[1]。库区水路可下至尤溪口与闽江相接；公路距京福高速大排互通口8公里[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
宋代此地归兴文乡安福里管辖，明清两代属十五都[1]。1958年成立雍口大队，1984年改为雍口村并设立村民委员会[1]。
文物与荣誉[edit]
村中的徐家大院为省级文物保护单位，建于清道光年间，详见西滨镇条目[3]。2021年11月，雍口村获命名「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。
