村情[edit]
全村283户、1148人，辖3个自然村、7个村民小组，土地17447亩，其中森林14857亩、耕地1233亩[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
清代初期，有人在此开基，属尤溪十三都；民国时称溪坪保[1]。1958年设演溪大队，1984年才改为演溪村，并设立村民委员会[1]。
1990年，因水口电站库区建设，演溪村成为西滨镇8个被淹没的行政村之一[1]。
人文[edit]
清代，村中刘敏三代获“文魁”匾额，溪坪必美坊古厝至今尚存[2]。
