村域与人口[edit]
323户1326人分居在8个村民小组，村子由大地头、桥头坑、洋城三个自然村组成[1]。耕地1915亩；林地里有毛竹林8256亩，全村森林面积19287亩[1]。
沿革[edit]
明清时属尤溪十三都，解放初曾设彩城乡。1958年划为彩城大队，1984年更名彩城村并设村委会[1]。
产业与荣誉[edit]
村民以毛竹林为收入支柱，村内有木材加工厂、造纸厂、竹器厂等企业[2]。2024年11月，村中获认定为福建省级「一村一品」专业村，专业方向为毛竹[1]。
