登第村在梅仙镇正北部，离镇区18公里，离高速公路互通口15公里。[1][2]

村内有16个村民小组，278户1152人（据博雅地名网所载，未注年份）。村庄处在山区，外出打工的人口较多。[1]

林果[edit]

村中毛竹林约2600亩，各家大都有自己的竹林；果园约1500亩，多数农户种柑橘或脐橙。[1]

村里的脐橙以「甜乐」为牌，畅销省内外。[1]
