乾美村在梅仙镇东北部，古名十都，离尤溪县城30公里，离梅仙镇政府15公里。[1][2]

村内有3个自然村，离京福高速公路大排互通口约12公里。[1]

茶叶与竹林[edit]

乾美是“福云六号”茶叶的产地，村中种茶园500多亩，另有苦丁茶50多亩。[1]

村中毛竹林1000多亩分布在村庄周围，竹笋产量逐年增加。[1]

人物[edit]

村中早年有名医郭元德，生于乾隆十二年，精通脉理。[1]

1930年，朱熹后裔第35代孙朱正武携妻带子迁居乾美。[1]

村子曾被市、县列为扶持对象的贫困村。[1]
