通演村位于尤溪县东南部，在经济开发区内，距县城5公里，距梅仙镇区7公里，全村辖2个自然村。[1][2]

地理位置[edit]

村地处梅仙镇与城关镇的交界处，与城关镇的埔头村毗邻。村民分居沈溪河两岸，两岸之间有桥梁相连。[1]

村内是通往城区公交线路的起点之一，村民与埔头工业园区联系紧密。[1]

产业[edit]

村中自20世纪70年代起种植绿竹，沿河两岸及近山处遍植绿竹，绿竹面积约200亩，小径竹约300亩。[1]

村民还种植甘蔗和各类蔬菜，城关的甘蔗市场主要由通演村供货。[1]

村内有机砖厂、再生纸厂、木制品厂和化工、建材企业，中青年村民多在埔头工业园区或省内外务工。[1]
