坪寨村在梅仙镇东侧，与镇府一河之隔，下辖6个自然村。[1][2]

地理位置[edit]

村庄南邻梅营村，北接源湖村，距镇区约2公里。福银高速尤溪至大排互通口的连接线从村中穿过，村内有较平坦的土地，适合布局工业园区。[1]

矿产与水源[edit]

村内有铅锌矿与白云石等矿藏，宋代时已有土法冶炼银矿的记载。[1]

村庄水源较缺，部分自然村的饮水存在困难，林地的一部分因矿山开采而被占用。[1]

旧时商街[edit]

宋代，洋中至坪仑两个自然村之间曾有一条商业街，名为“珍珠巷”，四乡的人都来赶集交易。后来街市衰落。[1]

古建筑[edit]

上洋自然村的大福圳民居为清代江南风格的大型宅院，建于清同治九年（1870年），光绪十一年（1885年）完工，历时16年。宅院面积逾万平方米，由三堂、七栋和一座书院组成，房间260多间，厅堂大小共18个，另有3座炮台，是一座防御功能突出的古民居。现已列为福建省文物保护单位。[1][2]

宅院的墙面上还保留有红军北上先遣队路经此地时留下的宣传标语。[1]
