梅营村是梅仙镇的行政村，位于尤溪河下游，与镇政府隔水相望，距尤溪县城14公里。[1][2]

地理位置[edit]

福银高速公路尤溪连接线贯穿全村，村中辖5个自然村。[1]

村落与姓氏[edit]

村名旧称“九都”。自卓氏开创梅林居地以来，村中先后有二十六个不同姓氏的家族共同生活，村中留存的古迹众多。[1]

村中的活泉堂占地25亩，建于三百多年前，供奉马氏真仙。该堂曾被毁，现已重建。[1]

革命遗迹[edit]

1932年，中国工农红军“乙八”部队北上途经梅营，在科坑堂等处书写宣传标语。这批标语保存至今，已列为县级重点文物保护单位。[1]

梅营的「红三军团政治部旧址科坑厝」，其年代标为1934年，属两进院落的清代建筑。[3]
