地理位置[edit]
村庄东邻坪寨村与梅营村，南接半山村，西与南洋村、经通村相接，北连源湖村。离京福高速互通口约8公里，离西滨刘坂码头约13公里，水陆交通都较便利。[1]
村辖3个自然村。村民以肖姓、黄姓居多，另有陈、胡、傅、周等姓氏。[1]
历史与墟市[edit]
梅仙旧称九都坂，村中长期是周边各村的商业中心，各地商品在此流通，形成了繁盛的墟市。[1]
民俗[edit]
每年农历正月十五、十六，各姓家族扎制龙灯，其中肖氏人口最多，按壹房、贰房、叁房、肆房分别扎龙、舞龙、迎龙。花灯、花鼓、烟花和爆竹伴随其间，全村老少沿街迎灯。[1]
古迹与景观[edit]
村内有肖家祠堂，建筑规模较大，梁枋雕饰细致。村西的古刹天保岩依山而建。沿河还立着十几株千年古榕树。[1]
物产[edit]
梅仙光饼是村中的特色小吃，在县内外颇有名声。[1]
