1999年7月，本社区居委会设立，所处方位为城关东北面，属城乡结合部社区。[1]

人口与辖区[edit]

社区设14个居民小组，博雅地名网所载共有居民1206户，3945人，其中女性1884人，男性2061人，未注统计年份。辖区内有供电有限公司、水文站、殡仪馆等9个企事业单位。[1]
