福井村位于前坪乡北部，离乡政府约3千米，北面与梅山镇相接，南面与前坪村相连。村子坐落在大扁峰脚下，大扁峰是前坪的第一高峰，村境以丘陵为主，海拔约850米。村中种植生姜和茶叶，所产「高峰」金姜姜块肥大，色泽金黄。[1][2][3]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网载，欧姓先人在此开基掘井而居，因方言中「欧」与「后」同音，井名转音为「后井」；民国时改为「福井」，寓吉祥幸福之井的意思。[1]
特产与茶园[edit]
福井村是有机「高峰金姜」的生产基地，块茎大，外皮金黄，口感脆嫩，辣味不重。[2]
大扁峰海拔1098米，山顶常有云雾。山周围的小山包经开发成有机茶园，山路可通车直达山顶的休闲亭。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年7月，本村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月又被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
