长坂村位于湖美乡南侧，距乡政府约10公里。[1]

村落坐落于长坑沟一带的田坂之上，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年改为湖美乡长坂村。1961年分出，设长坂大队；1958年时隶属湖美公社下的一个大队。[1]

民国时期它与邻近一村合称长和保，归京仙乡管辖；1949年后属第七区林兜乡；明清则在大田东区三十都。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年7月，本村被列为2023年度三明市达标「六无」村（社区），同年同月，又被确定为2021至2023年度三明市达标「六无」村（社区）。[1]
