和春村位于谢洋乡东南部，东邻科里村，西邻碧山村，南与永春县一都镇陈山村交界，距乡政府约7公里。[2]

村子海拔约790米，山林森林覆盖率较高，茶叶种植与加工是村民的主要收入来源。[2]

地名由来[edit]

村名由所辖自然村“后村”的谐音雅化而来，村子此前曾称后村、后坑坂。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子早年隶属黄认团，民国时在谢武乡的珍山保之内。新中国成立后进入第八区，1956年改由均溪区管辖。1958年它是武陵公社珍山大队的一部分；1961年转入谢洋公社，同年7月另称和春大队。[1]

1984年建乡后，村改称谢洋乡和春村村民委员会。[1]

革命历史[edit]

和春村是革命老区村。据博雅地名网，当年闽中特委曾在此设根据地，特委第一任书记林大蕃曾在此战斗，村内留有遗址。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，和春村先后被命名为「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1]
