三角尾村位于谢洋乡西南部，距乡政府约3.3公里，距大田县城约36公里。村民主要靠耕作、种养和外出务工为生。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村址位于山脉的尽头，原名“山脚尾”，方言读作“三角尾”，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子早先归黄认团管辖，民国时隶属谢武乡。解放后进入第八区，1956年并入均溪区，1958年改归武陵公社，1961年划入谢洋公社，1984年改设三角尾村村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，三角尾村先后被命名为「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1]
