科里村位于谢洋乡东北，村子东侧与坑口水库相邻，属革命老区村，距乡政府约9公里。[1]

和春、碧山、仕福等村的公路经过村中，村民以耕作和种茶为主，并把高山茶作为特色产业。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村中早年多柯树，“柯”与“科”同音，村名因此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早年村子属黄认团，民国初年归谢武乡的科里保。解放后划入大田第六区，之后经均溪区、武陵公社，1961年改隶谢洋公社。[1]

1984年建乡，原大队改为村，定名谢洋乡科里村。[1]

省级传统村落[edit]

2021年6月，科里村列入第四批省级传统村落名录。乡政府网站也将其列为省级传统村落。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

村子在2024年1月获评2023年度「福建省卫生村」。2024年7月，村先后被命名为「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1]
