谢洋乡是福建省三明市大田县下辖的乡，位于县境西南部，距县城约31公里，全乡辖14个行政村。境内多山，象山海拔1452米，为大田县第二高峰。[1]

乡名的来历据博雅地名网所载：早先此地为谢、杨两姓所居，故称谢杨；后林姓迁入，谢、杨两姓渐少，林氏将其谐音改作雅称“谢洋”。[3]

1984年撤社建乡，定名谢洋乡，沿用至今。[4][5]

历史沿革[edit]

明嘉靖十四年（1535年），此地由德化县划入大田县，归南区黄认团管辖。[4]

民国时期此地属谢武乡，设谢洋保；1950年2月划归大田第八区。1958年并入武陵公社，1962年从武陵分出，另设谢洋公社。[3][5]

1984年撤社改乡，成立谢洋乡，下辖各村改称村民委员会。[4][5]

地理环境[edit]

乡域位于三明、泉州、龙岩三市交界处，全乡辖14个行政村，据乡政府网站共有41个自然村。[1]

境内千米以上山峰有5座。象山海拔1452米，乡政府网站称其山顶为福建的地理中心，并有「南方天山」之称。[1]

乡政府所在地海拔877米，在全县乡镇中属海拔较高者。[1]

全乡面积115.13平方千米（乡政府网站），百度百科所载为116.12平方千米；两者并存，此处取乡政府网站的数字。[1][4]

全乡林地面积约14.27万亩，森林覆盖率81.9%，水域面积3平方千米。溪河纵横，降雨充沛，坑口水库是县城区的主要饮用水源地。[1]

全乡特产有笋干、槟榔芋、田螺和黄鳝，谢洋是大田高山茶的主产区之一。[1]

境内多处留有宋、明、清时期的古建筑，其中怀德、珍山、科里三村为省级传统村落。[1]

谢洋林氏开基祖祠奉先堂，据称始建于南宋嘉熙年间；龟山堂的修建时间大致在明代宣德至正统之间。[1]

民俗活动有板凳龙、舞狮和高甲戏等。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

象山寺是乡内的古刹，为县级文物保护单位，位于谢洋象山风景区，属明代古建筑，2005年3月公布。[1][2]

坑口水库建于1984年至1986年间，乡政府网站称其大坝是中国第一座碾压混凝土大坝。水库一带的村落见坑口村条目。[1][6]

孙中山的一位革命战友林万山，其故居也在境内。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2014年9月，环境保护部授予谢洋乡「2012年—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[3]

乡政府网站称，全乡还先后获评「省库区移民平安乡镇」。[1]

著名人物[edit]

据乡政府网站，明代的林逢公出任过江苏新城绵阳州的知州，颜宗圣则做过广东博罗的知县；清代本乡有举人、贡生共6人。[1]
