芳林村位于济阳乡西北一隅，东面是国庆村，南面连着德仁村，西侧跟屏山乡蒋山村相接，北侧与屏山乡玉坪村为邻，距乡政府10公里。[1]

村名以祖祠芳林堂得名。该村旧称「山黄林」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期隶属德化县济阳社，1949年前为德化县济屏乡的一部分。1950年以后归大田县管辖，编入屏山第六区。1958年转隶屏山公社，1962年改属泮林公社，1981年改设济阳公社，1984年设济阳乡芳林村。[1]

地理环境与人口[edit]

村庄辖3个自然村，共有408人，未注统计年份。村域面积合计7780亩，生态公益林3560亩。[1][2]

村内还有茶园120亩，桔园150亩，黄花菜150亩与毛竹1030亩；水田243亩，名贵树230亩。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，芳林村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」，同年7月又被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1]
