历史沿革[edit]
民国初年此地为德化县大儒乡的辖地。1952年，村子划归大田县，编入屏山第六区。1956年起改隶均溪区，此后数年在屏山与泮林两公社之间反复调整，1981年改设济阳公社。[1][3]
1984年，济阳乡设立，大儒村随之设立村委会，沿用至今。[1]
地理与人口[edit]
村域面积达11000亩，耕地600亩，林地8000亩；生态公益林占3500亩，森林覆盖率为60%。[2]
全村总人口1349人，划分为14个村民小组，未注统计年份。外出务工者约占总人口的七成半，多在德化、永春、泉州、晋江一带。[1][2]
村民经济以种植业为基础，外出务工是另一主要来源；村级收入主要依靠上级转移支付。[2]
博雅地名网称该村是移民村，村内有库区移民的历史背景。[2]
文化与荣誉[edit]
村内古迹有西湖堂、儒美桥与儒洲庵，详见济阳乡条目。[1][3]
2015年10月，大儒村列入第一批省级传统村落名录。[1][3]
省爱卫办于2021年11月授予大儒村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
2024年7月，大儒村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1]
