岭后村位于大田县梅山镇西南部，东侧与龙口村相接，西面与文江镇为邻，南面连着金阳村，北面毗邻高泉村。[2]

古名“峻岭”，现名取自境内半岭、后坑两个自然村的名称，各取一字。[1]

村辖两个自然村，即半岭与后坑。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代此地属大田三十都，1940年归第二区，1950年2月起属第五区。[1]

1958年起为龙口公社下的岭后大队；1971年回归梅山公社。1984年设梅山乡岭后村村民委员会，2018年梅山乡撤销改镇，村委会名称变更为梅山镇岭后村村民委员会。[1]

产业[edit]

村中种植高山生姜和朝天辣椒，特产有“高峰生姜”。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，岭后村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
