历史沿革[edit]
明代时此地属大田县三十都，1940年划归第二区，1941年隶属龙漈乡，1950年2月改属第五区。[1]
1958年西书一带设为梅山人民公社的西书大队；1984年，此地改称梅山乡西书村村民委员会。2018年梅山乡改设为镇后，村委会更名为梅山镇西书村村民委员会。[1]
产业[edit]
村中以种植业与养殖业为主，高山生姜、朝天辣椒是主要作物。村民除传统水稻外，还发展了油茶和高山茶叶。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2023年2月，西书村被列入「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
2021年11月，西书村获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
