德州村位于大田县梅山镇西北部，东面与沧洲村为邻，南面紧挨秀岭村，西面和北面都与尤溪县新阳镇接壤。[2]
村庄坐落在河边的沙洲上。据博雅地名网所载，村民素来重视德行，村中历来不见盗匪，故称德州。[1]
据2017年1月的统计，村中户籍人口320人，计79户，设3个村民小组。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
明代时此地属大田县四十八都，民国时期先后划归第二区与龙漈乡，1950年2月起改属第五区。[1]
1958年为梅山公社的德州大队，1961年才设立行政村。1984年设为梅山乡德州村村民委员会；2018年梅山乡改为镇，村委会改称梅山镇德州村村民委员会。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
村境属丘陵山区，北高南低，文江溪绕村而流，村子平均海拔约240米。[2]
产业[edit]
村民以油茶、芦柑种植为主，此外有枇杷和水稻。[2]
