秀岭村位于大田县梅山镇中部，东侧挨着沧洲村，南边与沈岭村接连，西侧靠梅山、新楼两村，北面则与德州村以及尤溪县新阳镇相接。[2]
村名的来历，是从村前对面两座山（秀峰与魁岭）的名字中各取一字。[1]
村下辖三堡、林溪、坑门、街下坂四个自然村。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
明代村子归大田县四十八都，民国时隶属第二区，1941年划入龙漈乡，1950年2月起属第五区。[1]
1958年改称梅山公社下的秀岭大队；1984年设梅山乡秀岭村村民委员会，2018年梅山乡改为镇，村委会名称随之变为梅山镇秀岭村村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村中种植木薯、生姜与辣椒，村里一位林业大户还办起了林业公司。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2007年，秀岭村被大田县委、县政府评为“文明村”。[2]
2021年11月，秀岭村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
