花桥村位于文江镇西南部，村东紧邻建设镇大同村，西边为太华镇黄沙村，南面是温厝村，北面与建设镇香浮村衔接。[1]

村内有3个自然村，村中河流由西向东穿越村子。[1][2]

1535年大田设县，此后基层设置了4个巡检司，花桥是其中之一，每司配巡检、司吏各一名，负责治安。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，花桥村先后取得「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」的命名，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
