典坑村位于文江镇南端，周边依次为东侧的民主村、南侧的琼口村、西侧的文江村和北侧的昭文村。[1][3]

因地处山坳，村落规模小且集中于一点，取“点”字的谐音“典”作为村名。村内多山林，森林覆盖率较高。[1][2][3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，典坑村获得「2023年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2024年7月，本村又被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
