吴山村是吴山镇下辖的行政村，博雅地名网将其列为镇中心区。村名的来历有一段陈、吴两姓更替的说法：此地原多吴姓聚居，后陈姓迁入并与吴姓通婚，陈姓逐渐兴旺，为纪念吴姓先人的发祥地，遂以吴山为名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明万历十年（1582）起，本村隶属德化县。清雍正二十年起改属永春州德化县辖地。1950年8月划归大田县前，本村民国时期隶属德化县济屏乡吴山保；此后经历屏山区、公社与吴山公社的几次调整。2017年撤乡设镇，村委会改称吴山镇吴山村村民委员会；此前自1984年建乡起，属吴山乡。[2]

荣誉[edit]

省级农业农村部门于2022年10月认定本村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；福建省爱卫办于2022年12月命名本村为「福建省卫生村」（2022年）；2024年7月，本村被命名为三明市2023年度达标「六无」村（社区）。[1]
