早兴村位于大田县东南部的华兴镇境内，与德化县接壤，海拔680米。村名先前叫草坑，后改作早兴。[1][2]

1996年前，这里是早兴乡政府的驻地；村内以油茶种植为主，是华兴乡油茶的主要种植基地。[1]

地名与历史[edit]

村子建在草木茂密的山坳之间，原称草坑。后来读音转为「蚤卿」，再谐为「早兴」，取早日兴旺之意。[1]

村中的一位人物是甘蔗专家卢浩然，他曾任福建省政协副主席。[1]

自然环境[edit]

村域内有古火山口等地质遗迹，这些资源正与文旅产业融合发展。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2017年8月，早兴村入选「福建省第二批省级传统村落」；2019年6月，又入选「第五批中国传统村落」。[1][2]

2024年7月，早兴村获「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」称号。[1]
