建忠村隶属建设镇，位于镇域中北部，南面与建设村相靠，北面与建爱村相连，离镇政府约1.2公里。当地称它为洋面一带的第一大村。[1]

村名始于1958年，寓意建设家乡、忠于祖国。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

宫边红粬窖群遗址在本村笔架山一带，属明至清时期的遗存，今存窖口二百余个，多沿岩壁凿成。2020年11月，它入选「福建省第十批省级文物保护单位」。[1][3]

文化[edit]

2024年11月，建忠村被认定为「2024年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」，产业为红粬。[1]

2022年9月，福建省农业农村厅推介本村为「2022年福建省美丽休闲乡村」。[1]

2021年11月，本村获「2021年福建省卫生村」命名；2020年12月，被确定为「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
