建设镇位于福建省三明市大田县西北部，镇政府驻地海拔530.51米，距大田县城约53公里，距三明市区约47公里。全镇辖区面积79.4平方千米；县政府网站记其户籍一项为2.62万人，常住一项为1.52万人。[1]

镇内商贸活动较为集中，民间古银币交易和红粬、雪蔗、糟菜等农特产品是其常被提及的特色。县政府网站称其素有“大田第二城关”之称。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1535年（明嘉靖十四年）大田设县之前，这一带隶属尤溪，此后改归大田。正德年间已划为三十九都的一部分，建县之时仍沿用这一编制。[3]

1939年9月设三民乡，1950年后归大田县第三区。1955年，驻地村改名为“建设”，镇名即由此村名而来。1958年时划归广平公社；1961年自广平析出，另立建设公社。[3]

1984年，公社体制取消，此地改称建设乡。县政府网站所载行政区划沿革，1995年仍列建设乡，2000年起列建设镇；博雅地名网则记为1994年撤乡建镇，此处以县政府网站为准。[2][3]

地理环境[edit]

以太华镇为南界，广平镇在北侧相邻；东面连着奇韬与文江两镇，西面则与永安市的槐南镇交界。[1]

省道306线贯穿全镇，镇内交通便利，镇政府所在地周边分布着多个行政村。[3]

经济[edit]

镇内设有占地30亩、可容2000个摊位的农贸市场，民间古钱币收藏交易活跃。县政府网站称，这里的民间古银币交易市场在全国仅次于上海，居第二位。[1]

地下矿产以煤为大宗，此外还有石墨、石灰石，以及铅锌、锰、铜与铁等，煤矿开采与有色金属选炼是镇内较多的行业，县政府网站称其为县内重点产煤镇。[1]

农产方面，雪蔗与糟菜较为突出，米粉、仙草亦有出产，红粬则是多种红酒的主要原料。[1][7]

名胜古迹[edit]

琵琶堡位于建国村，始建于明洪武年间，堡体平面如落地的琵琶，因而得名。该堡为国家重点文物保护单位。[1][6]

「中国工农红军第九军团驻扎地暨三民乡苏维埃政府旧址光裕堂」在建设村，建于1926年，1934年前后红九军团曾驻于此，军团指挥部设在堂内。该处2018年列入「第九批福建省文物保护单位」。[1][4]

「三民乡苏维埃政府旧址暨红军标语房」位于建设村45号，原是林景地的民房，建于1926年，屋内留有18幅红军标语。据该旧址所载，在红九军团协助下，三民乡于1934年5月设立了苏维埃政府。[5]

宫边红粬窖群遗址位于建忠村笔架山一带，为明至清遗存，现存200多个窖口。2020年11月，它入选「福建省第十批省级文物保护单位」。[1][7]

文化[edit]

红粬制作技艺列为省级非物质文化遗产，红粬也是当地的传统酿造原料。[1]

2015年以来，建设镇已连续三届获得「全国文明村镇」称号；2019年，它被认定为「省级商务特色镇」。[1]

2024年1月，全镇获「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」的命名。[3]
