村子山水秀美，有如锦绣，故名锦溪。[1]

沿革[edit]

明清时期此地归大田三十八都。1950年为第三区华锦乡所辖，1958年划入太华公社，1970年称锦溪大队，1984年设锦溪村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，锦溪村获得「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」称号。[1]
