高星村位于太华镇西南部，距镇政府约23公里。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村民先祖在明代由长汀迁来，因寓意福星高照而取名高星。[1]

据县维基百科所载，高星村讲客家话。[2]
沿革[edit]
旧称“高村”。1950年归第三区管辖，1958年划入太华公社，1961年转属汤泉公社，1970年又回太华公社。1984年建村民委员会，1994年更名为太华镇高星村村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，高星村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2024年7月，获得「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」称号。[1]
