张地村位于太华镇东南部，原为魁城村下辖的一个自然村，1984年设立村民委员会。[1]
地名由来[edit]
此地原称“剩地”，系明代划都建制后剩下的一块地。后因“剩”与当地方言中的“张”读音相近，改称“张地”。[1]
沿革[edit]
1958年此地隶属太华公社魁城大队，1960年起另设张地大队，1984年设张地村民委员会，1994年定名为太华镇张地村村民委员会。[1]
人口与姓氏[edit]
截至2011年末，全村有862人，住户均为连姓。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，张地村被福建省爱卫办评定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2024年7月，获得「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」称号。[1]
