魁城村位于太华镇东南部，村内有省级文物保护单位魁城连氏祖屋，又名龙井祠。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据称唐代开成年间已有连氏先祖在此定居，村名与年号“开成”的读音相近，由此得名魁城。[1]

文物[edit]

魁城连氏祖屋是魁城连氏的总祠，始建于宋宝祐二年，清嘉庆四年重修，为木结构建筑，2009年11月列为福建省省级文物保护单位。[2][3]

村内还有连胤墓（明代），以及步云楼和敦义堂（清代），三处均为县级文物保护单位。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2015年10月，魁城村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」；2019年6月，列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录；2023年2月，村子入选「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
