地名由来[edit]
村庄位于山坳之中，因杨姓先人在此开基而得名。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村子分布在3个自然村，水稻与烟草是主要农作物。[1]

历史沿革[edit]
村子古属县西区聚贤里，民国末期隶属桃源镇。1949年后归桃源区管辖；1958年，桃源公社设杨坑大队；1984年改称杨坑村，并设村民委员会。[4]
文化[edit]
革命时期村里有12名成员从事过地下党的工作。[1]
荣誉[edit]
杨坑村于2015年10月入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」。[1][3]
2024年7月，杨坑村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
