兴埔村位于广平镇东南部，与奇韬镇交界。[1][3]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

村子原名东埔。因与他处同名，1984年取兴旺之意改名兴埔。[1][3][4]

1984年改称广平镇兴埔村并设村民委员会。1976年成立广平公社良种场，1958年属广平公社，之前的1956年属文江区，1950年初属第四区，民国时归广铭乡，明清时隶属大田北区四十五都。[2]

经济[edit]

村民收入主要靠煤炭和运输，兼营种养业，其中以养猪为主；作物有水稻、果树、甘蔗等。[1]

荣誉[edit]

兴埔村于2024年7月被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
